Wart Removal
Say goodbye to warts with Cryosurgery.
Warts are small, grainy growths that can occur anywhere on the skin– most often on the fingers, hands, and arms. Warts are caused by the HPV virus and are mildly contagious from person to person. They can be transmitted through casual skin contact or shared items, such as towels and washcloths. Warts will heal on their own with time and are generally harmless, but many people choose to have them removed more quickly through cryosurgery. Samaritan Medical Care Center is open 7 days a week, and able to perform this procedure at an affordable cost.
Symptoms:
- Small, grainy bumps with clearly defined borders
- Flesh-colored with tiny black dots, which are small, clotted blood vessels
- Rough to the touch
When to see a doctor for warts:
- Growths change in color or appearance
- Growths are painful, bothersome and interfere with activities
- Warts persist, spread or recur despite at-home treatment
- You aren’t sure whether the growths are warts
Cryosurgery for Wart Removal
If you are suffering from warts that are bothersome, spreading, or embarrassing, visit Samaritan Medical Care Center. Make an appointment, or just walk in when it’s convenient for you. Our medical team can evaluate your skin’s condition and determine the best course of treatment. If necessary, we are able to perform cryosurgery (sometimes called cryotherapy) for wart removal. Cryosurgery is a minimally invasive treatment that uses extreme cold to freeze and destroy abnormal tissue.
